Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology

An original entry in the Tales of the World series, and the first new Tales game for the PSP. The story of Radiant Mythology takes place in the world of Terejia. Demons from another world have invaded the land, chasing people from their homes and doing damage to the planet. A great tree that brought life to Terejia protects the world and its people for some time, but slowly loses power. Using the last bit of its power, it creates the main character -- you!

Players can create their own character, deciding such things as name, gender, face, clothing and even voice. You also choose a Job type, and based on the job that you select, the quests that become available to you as you play the game change. As is to be expected of a Tales of the World game, Radiant Mythology features characters from other Tales games, as well as two new characters: Morumo, a mascot character from a different world who hopes to stop the invading demons, and Kanosono, an amnesia-ridden girl who works in a resistance group in the city of Ailily. Radiant Mythology makes use of the Flex Range Linear Motion Battle System (FR-LMBS) that was featured in Tales of the Abyss. You're able to move your character about freely on the battle field. Battles include support for up to four ally characters.

Tales of Destiny

The game begins when country-boy-turned-adventurer Stahn Aileron, who seeks fame and adventure, sneaks aboard the flying ship Draconis as a stowaway. He is found out by the crew and forced to work as a deckhand, but when a large hostile force attacks the ship, the crew is overwhelmed and Stahn breaks free during the ensuing chaos. Looking for a usable weapon to fend off the attackers, he gains access to a storeroom and discovers a "junk" sword. However, the sword starts talking to him, calling itself Dymlos and claiming to be a sentient Swordian from the Aeth'er Wars. Armed with Dymlos, Stahn fights his way to an escape pod, which he uses to escape the rapidly descending ship before it crashes into the ground.

Dymlos becomes the key to the fame, fortune, and adventure Stahn seeks as the young man meets other Swordians, quickly becoming embroiled in a battle for a relic of the Aeth'er Wars: a huge, extremely powerful Lens called the Eye of Atamoni.

Metal Gear Acid

This new take on the blockbuster Metal Gear franchise gives players a new approach to their espionage. Metal Gear Acid (also lovingly known as Acid Metal by its creators for the trippy take on the series) is a card-based simulation that progresses as a series of missions. Gameplay is somewhat like a 3D board game or RTS, in that players have a set number of moves and actions to take in a given turn sequence -- play out your Weapon card to take down an enemy, play the box Item card to duck into hiding when foes are on patrol, and play the Ninja or Roy Campbell Character card to call in some heavy-duty support from your allies in the field.
